Cherry red with good depth of colour and some terracotta hue. Complex aromas of barrel ageing with spicy notes of vanilla. Well-structured with mature soft finish.
History
This modern winery, founded in 1977, is situated in Manzanares in the heart of La Mancha. It was the first bodega in the region to be built entirely using stainless steel and computer controlled technology. Since then it has continued to develop and now has a vast barrel ageing cellar, modern quality controls and internationally recognised certification.
Regional Information
La Mancha is an elevated plateau in central Spain, renowned for its hot climate. Previously under the radar, it is now making rapid advances with the use of modern winemaking techniques whilst keeping true to its traditional roots. This is a very exciting region to keep an eye on, as it produces particularly rich and flavoursome wines.
